A Refugee's escape, a prisoner's promise and also a daughter's painful secret converge in this inspiring true life story of hope. It is Jolie's (Burton) very first time traveling back home to Louisiana since her devastating break up with Foster Burke). Seeing him is unavoidable simply because their parents run the town's annual Christmas Market together, but when she finds Foster is bringing home a brand new girlfriend, Jolie can't bear the notion of heading home by itself and seeing them together. Her closest friend Naomi (Ackles) implies that Jolie carry her flaky brother, Jack (Buckley), home for Christmas as he's no plans this season. Jolie, an experienced web designer, is hesitant; so, a lawyer, Naomi, creates a Christmas contract to provide them each one thing they need - a buffer for all those uncomfortable moments around Jolie's ex & a site to help you sell Jack's forthcoming novel. Unbeknownst to them, the Christmas contract proves to be a lot much more than what they registered for.
